<HTML>Hi MPC

Back again. Apologies for the double-post; the gremlin strikes.

Gabler`s book has a comprehensive table at the back which gives *all* the war-time boats (as well as post-war). He doesn`t list a `Gabler boat` as such, but there are three `Walter boats` listed - V80, (1939) Type 17 (1942) and Type 26 (1945). Full details (very full !) are given of each. You might find what you`re looking for there.

Am also back to say that I`ve checked the crew list of U-564, and he was an original crew-member from square one.Don`t know where he originated from before that. Born 1919, so three years younger than Suhren.

Cheers

Frank
