<HTML>Hello Mr. Clark

I believe M. Gannon in his book Operation Drumbeat wrote that Kaptlt. Reinhard Hardegen questioned Hitler at a dinner about the deployment of the Luftwaffle and the lack of a true naval air arm to help the U-boats. Hardegen further questioned Herman Goering\'s abilities as Commander in Chief of the Luftwaffle. Gannon states that Hardegen did this in front of senior German officers. Erich Topp was also at the same dinner. Hitler became enraged and slamed his fist on the table and told Hardegen that he knows nothing of the big picture and that the Reichmarshal had things in hand....!!!!????? During this outburst Hardegen still pressed on with his own views. I believe I read this in Operational Drumbeat. Please check.

Good luck and Good Hunting
