<HTML>When I was in the army eons ago, I came all the way across the Pacific on a Navy troopship (USS Mitchell) (19 days) and I have to admit, the Navy food was the best I had while serving duty. I\'m sure the German Navy food was also good during the big war, but what about on the subs with limited storage, refrigeration? I wonder if they even had freezers on them? I would like to hear from a Uboat veteran what a \"normal\" meal would consist of and if there was enough.</HTML>
