<HTML>I also have just seen the \"Nova\" episode on U-869. The theory that U-869 was sunk by one of its own torpedoes is intriguing. What \"Nova\" did not seem to address (unless I was day-dreaming and missed it) was if U-869 was equipped with T-11 acoustical torpedoes. This makes sense to me that the torpedo would come around full circle and hit the boat that fired it if it was an acoustical type. Does anyone out there know? Was U-869 equipped with acoustical T-11\'s?
