I watched the movie U-571 and i tell you i was dissapointed (not to say ANGRY). This movie seems to be more than propaganda than reflecting the \"reality\". The worst parts:
1. You cant just simply come to near to an uboat without knowing the passwort. HEY IT IS WAR. (maybe the passwort was, \"we have EGGS on BOARD\") ;-)))
2. Strange, the german uboat engineer tried to repair the boat, NOTHING and suddenly when the USA engineer comes onboard hahaha yes then of course then its ALL FIXED IN ABOUT 5 minutes. :-) FULLY REPAIRED again :-)) hihi
3. This was an enigma Uboat in the movie. So when they gave through their position to the headquarter wherever in germany crypted with it how the hell can someone in USA take this message and decrypt.. i thought the mission WAS to capture the enigma because they couldn\'t decrypt enigma stuff ?! :-))
4. Yes and of course you come on board on a foreign uboat with all german text everywhere you fix everything, learned the german language maybe in 5 minutes and boost away Destroyers and other uboats :-) They should be awarded with the Knights Cross + Oak + Swords + Brilliants for this! :-)
5. You are storming an uboat with five man or something on the sea, yes OF COURSE the whole german crew Fear you. (btw wasnt there a scene where even the GERMAN EVIL NAZI cook came out and tried to kill, was it Bon Jovi :-), with a knife?) hihi.. ;-)
6. And furthermore, YES: The german Commander on the uboat who is on patrol for dunno how many months can be easily cheated. OF COURSE. Yes i always said that, Just take an USA uboat, take a swastika, solder it on the boat and EVERYONE in the WWII german navy will think you are friendly ;-))
7. Of course the commander and his crew are sooo EVIL NAZIS they dont make prisoners!!
Sorry this movie is a JOKE i totally agree!
