Capsized battleship

<HTML>Hello Dima,
I have been always intrigued by the fate of Novorossyrsk (formerly Giulio Cesare) because both my grandfathers worked on her during the total refitting done in the mid-thirties.
Moreover she blew up on the 28 of October which itself is a meaningful date for the Italian history. Rumours of sabotage masterminded by J.V. Borghese were popular at the time.
I do not think Soviet admirals should exactly swim underwater, but clearly they should be able to plan emergency procedures.
I like Jury\'s posts, maybe a bit out of place but not entirely wrong. He is a real passionate Russian and a well informed one, too. Sometime I figured out he is not a simple sub-fan but a former Officer in the Intelligence & Historic Bureau, USSR Baltic & Arctic Fleet.
Greetings
Walter M.
