<HTML>Hello,
I wonder if anyone could help me here. In the movie U-571, the German
commander wears an open seam shearling coat. Later in the movie Mr.
McConaughey appropriates it. I am having a replica of this coat made
because I think its awesome. My question is if this coat was actually ever
worn by U-Boat officers in action? Also is there a book that covers
psychological vetting procedures used to pick U-Boat crews?
Thanx for your help,
Carl</HTML>
