This is the forum for Movie and Film discussions. Again, our topic is naval warfare in WWII for the most part.

<HTML>Hello Gentlemen,
I would like to add my two cents worth please!
The best--- is DVD German and no subtitles "Das Boot" directors cut. it is great and real!!
Ignoring the funny ones....
and considering the time the movie was made and level of the film industry.
In general I like all sub movies and can find a few moments in each that is exciting submarines in action!!
The only film that drives me crazy is "Crimson Tide" maybe it is based on a true story ; and is an example of leadership by committee or just how goofy upper management has become.......... To have the chief and exc acting like children on a boomer ... guess the anti-nukes are in there making the US navy look like fools. Fact or fiction?? Is this a good time to bring up the USS Indianapolis -- using the enemy to distroy a great Captain. hmmm
Sincerely,
Charla Anaya</HTML>
