i just played the movie sequences frame by frame and looked up the aircraft and i'd say you're right - the Gibraltar plane and the two at the end have blunter wingtips than a Thunderbolt, (http://www.btinternet.com/~lee_mail/P-47.html)
and look to me to match with the T-6 Texan (http://www.futurshox.net/viewer.php3?id=1252)
think you're right about the Bleinheims too, as the ones in the film don't seem to have the double tailplane arrangement of a B-25.
