Bingo! That is exactly my biggest gripe with this travesty of a movie (apart from it being filmed in the most conservative cliche type of camera views, has laughable special effects, characters more flat than their own shadows, a soundtrack fit to make a deaf man cry etc. etc.).

That would all be stomachable, if Mostow did not claim to be a history and U-Boot buff, who deliberately lies in order to lend to this waste of time a seeming of credibility.
