All you have to do is look at the facts! What a total and complete change of history.
Does anyone believe the story? Only Hollywood script writes can come up with such a tale of bravery, selfless acts, and bad timing.
Surely the true stories are better than made up trash like this film.
Its all about facts, and making things believable, something that this film isn't!
Just look at Das Boat. A great bit of TV, it might not be strictly true, but A. Its believable, B. The events did happen, maybe not to one single U-Boat, but you could find very similar stories on most logs. C. You can relate to the feel, smelly, etc. D. Its not all glamour, **** does happen to the crew. E. Its just a bloody good programme!
That's how you make a good programme/film on ANY subject!
