This project is doomed simply because it features the worlds most overrated actor, ie David Jason. This guy has been deified in this part of the world for his portrayal of the cockney 'Wideboy' Del Trotter in the comedy series Only Fools and Horses. He is the original 'One trick pony', no matter how hard he tries he is incapable of playing anything serious and God knows he tried. The embarrasing 'A Touch Of Frost' in which he played a detective is a testimony to his ineptitude, He is one of those actors who is always 'ACTING' Do you know what I mean? As a believer in the 'Don't just do something, Stand there' approach to the craft I find his fidgety style,OTT expressions and gestures irritating in the extreme.
