hi, Nearly true. Tanker BELCHEN (6367 grt) was one of seven tankers sent out as supply ships for RHEINÜBUNG. After BISMARCK's loss, BELCHEN provided fuel for submarines. hi, Platon, you are right, with the small deviation that the KTB says that the minelaying was performed by S 36 and S 57 while the Kurzbericht names S 36 and S 60. My experience with other flotilla KTBs is that there are quite a number of spelling and boat number errors in the Kurzberichte compared with the KTB greetings, Urs

hi, the RN wireless station on St. Kilda was shelled by German sub U 90 (CO Kptlt Walter Remy) om May 15, 1918 at noon. Thw W/T station was not hit directly, but the power supply hut got a hit and the station was out of action for several hours. Fresh sheep (mutton) meat was obtained by U 90's crew not on St. Kilda, but on North Rona. Source : in Marine-Nachrichtenblatt No. 4, IV/201
