Oblt. Paul Frerks was relieved of command and reduced to the ranks after a disciplinary judgment. He then went to serve with the 1 UAA training unit during June - July 1944. After that little is known (Busch & Röll, 1999).

He is reported missing since 2 Aug 1963.
