Master Alexis Geffroy. Sailed from Lannion on January 20th and never arrived in Cardiff; vessel posted as missing. U 55 stopped and sank by gunnery an unidentified sailing vessel off Pendeen on the evening of January 31st of an estimated 80 grt but didn’t determine it’s exact identity.
