History

Christening of HMCS Toronto, sterling silver platter reading as follows; Presented by Davie Shipbuilding and Repairing Company Limited to Mrs. Fred. J. Conboy on the Occasion of the christening of H.M.C.S. TORONTO on November, 25, 1943 at Lauzon. Que.

Decommissioned 27 November 1945.
Recommissioned as a Prestonian class frigate with penant number 319 on 26 November 1953.
Decommissioned on 14 April 1956.
Became the Norwegian Garm in 1956.
Renamed Valkyrien in 1965 and served untill 1977.
