Redesignated as a utility carrier (CVU 23) on 1 July 1958 and reactivated as aircraft transport the same date.
Underwent transport conversion and operated with a civilian crew as T-CVU 23.
Redesignated as an aviation transport (T-AKV 42) on 7 May 1959.
Placed out of service in 1971.
Stricken 6 August 1972.
Sold and scrapped in 1972.
