Captured by the Germans in May 1940 while still on the slip.
Ccommissioned by the Germans as UD-5 on 30 January 1942.
UD-5 was surrendered by the Germans at Bergen, Norway on 9 May 1945.
HrMs O 27 was commissioned into the Royal Netherlands Navy on 13 July 1945.
Decommissioned on 14 November 1959.
Sold to be broken up for scrap on 23 December 1960.
