Around 1340 hours D-3 attacked the German auxiliary minesweeper M 1504 of the Tanafjord. The torpedoes fired missed their target and D-3 is counter-attacked by the German auxiliary anti-submarine trawlers UJ 1108 and UJ 1109.

Around 1445 hours D-3 attacked a German convoy off Makkaur, Norway. The Norwegian merchant Hallingdal (3180 G~ GRT, offsite link) is missed by the torpedoes fired.

D-3 Krasnogvardeets [not Krasnovgardeyets!] was lost after 06 June, 1942. Possible reasons of loss - mine field "Bantos-A" north to Rybachy peninsula or mine field "Schpeer III" off Berlevog.
