23 Nov, 1941
K-3 lays two minefields in the Reinöy- and Mageröysund.

3 Dec, 1941
At 1328 hours K-3 fires four torpedoes at the German merchant Altkirch (4713 GRT) off northern Norway in position 70°51'N, 23°50'E. All torpedoes however miss their target.

The escorting German auxliary submarine chasers UJ 1403, UJ 1416 and UJ 1708 engage K-3 with depth charges damaging the submarine so that it had to surface resulting in a gun battle.

At 1507 hours K-3 hits the UJ 1708/Faröer (470 GRT) resulting in the sinking of this ship in position 70°54'N, 23°46'E.

The lightly armed UJ 1403 and UJ 1416 withdrew from the scene giving the damaged K-3 a possibility to escape. (see map)

30 Jan, 1942
The Norwegian coaster Ingøy (327 GRT, offsite link) is mined and sunk off Måsøy, Norway in position 71º06'N, 25º00'E. The mine was laid on 23 November 1941 by the Russian submarine K-3. (see map)

9 Jul, 1942
The German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 1110 (527 GRT) is mined and sunk off the Mageroysund in position 70º39'N, 23º38'E. The mine was laid by either the Russian submarine K-3 on 23 November 1941 or the Russian submarine K-21 on 11 November 1941. (see map)

5 Feb, 1943
K-3 torpedoes and sinks the German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 1108/Elbe (462 GRT) off the Kongsfjord, Norway in position 70º53'N, 29º20'E. (see map)

12 Feb, 1943
K-3 torpedoes and heavily damages the German merchant Fechenheim (8116 GRT) off the Batsfjord. The Fechenheim is beached to prevent sinking. Later the ship is salvaged and towed back to Germany but she was deemed beyond repair.

17 Mar, 1943
K-3 attacks the German merchant Rotersand (4221 GRT) with torpedoes off Nordkyn, northern Norway. The torpedoes fired however all miss their target.

21 Mar, 1943
The German merchant H. Fritzen (4818 GRT) reports that she was missed by torpedoes in position 71º12'N, 27º41'E. This must have been K-3 that was sunk during the German counter-attack. (see map)
