History

Never commissioned into the Royal Netherlands Navy.
Scuttled on 14 May 1940 in the Nieuwe Waterweg at Rotterdam to prevent her capture by the Germans.
Raised by the Germans and towed to Blohm & Voss at Hamburg.
Commissioned as ZH 1 in the Kriegsmarine on 11 October 1942.
On 9 June 1944 she was scuttled by her own crew off Ile de Bas, France after being heavily damaged during an action with an Allied destroyer force.
