  Published a new article called U-boat attacks on the convoy SC-48 and the mysterious loss of HMS GLADIOLUS during the night of 16/17 October 1941 by our Rainer Kolbicz. The article deals with re-assessments of facts during the convoy battle for SC-48.

  21:29 - Youngest U-boat commander passes away
  Oberleutnant zur See Ludwig-Ferdinand von Friedeburg, son of Admiral Hans-Georg von Friedeburg, passed away on 17 May 2010. He was the youngest U-boat commander to leave for mission.
