Mr. Frank A. Blazich Jr, has compiled a great paper on the American civilian air patrol called North Carolina’s Flying Volunteers: The Civil Air Patrol in World War II, 1941–1944. He debunks the CAP U-boat kill claims with real evidence among other things. Very nice read.
