Career information
Born NZ. Son of Ernest Valentine and Thomazena(nee Stapledon) Miller. Ernest was Manager of Chelsea sugar refinery in Auckland. He Married Thomazena in Devon England in 1887. She was born 1860, daughter of Captain William Stapledon MN and Elizabeth (nee Clibbett Dau of William Clibbett (she was born b1830).
Ship builder of Appledore devon. Captain William Made voyages to Australia from 1852 for many years and was owner of Norwood some time convict ship to WA.Thomazenas 2 brothers were born on board off Bombay 1858 and 1862. A long history of sea faring.
