Destroyer HMS Quilliam (G 09)


20 May 1945
HMS Quilliam collided with HMS Indomitable in fog, and in the words of Captain Onslow "With no one to blame but myself, I had pushed my stem back to 'A' Gun." As a result, Quilliam was out of action for the rest of the war. (1)
