HMS Seagull (Lt.Cdr. C.H. Pollock, RN) picks up 89 survivors from the British merchant Ocean Voice that was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-435 west of Jan Mayen Island in position 71°23'N, 11°03'W.
