Guy Bourchier Sayer was born on 2 January 1903 in East Finchley,the youngest of the 6 children of William Feetham Sayer (1850-1910) a Manufacturer and his wife Edith Alexandra Bell (1853-1942). His portrait is in the National Gallery.
