USS Silversides (Lt.Cdr. C.C. Burlingame) damaged the Japanese guard boat Ebisu Maru No.5 with gunfire about 540 nautical miles north of Marcus Island in position 33°14'N, 150°58'E.

17 May 1942 (position 33.28, 135.33)
USS Silversides (Lt.Cdr. C.C. Burlingame) torpedoed and damaged the Japanese troop transport Tottori Maru (5973 GRT) and the Japanese merchant cargo ship Thames Maru (5871 GRT) off Shionomisaki, southern Honshu, Japan in position 33°28'N, 135°33'E.

22 May 1942 (position 33.30, 135.27)
USS Silversides (Lt.Cdr. C.C. Burlingame) torpedoed and damaged the Japanese transport Asahisan Maru (4551 GRT) at the mouth of Kii Suido, between Ichiyozaki and Shionomizaki, Honshu, Japan in position 33°30'N, 135°27'E.

21 Jun 1942

15 Jul 1942
