Career information
Lt. Morrison was awarded the Navy Cross for his work as a Assistant Diving Officer during the rescue of the crew of accidentally sunken USS Squalus (SS-192) on 23 May 1939. Morrison was operating from the rescue ships USS Falcon (ASR-2).
Lt. Julian Knox Morrison died accidentally when cleaning a target weapon aboard the USS Sealion. he is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, in Section 8 Site 5438.
