Career information
Francis Jack Cartwright was the son of Francis John Winsor Cartwright, RMLI and Emily Mary Toulmin Cartwright nee Bullock. He was born 4 August 1908 in London. His father was killed in action in France at the Battle of Greville in 1917 during WWI.
His first cousin Captain Thomas Desmond Cartwright went down with HMS Hood, 24 May 1941.
