Career information
John Casement was the eldest son of Adm. John Moore Casement and his wife Annie Myra Gervers. He was born in Kensington, London, 22 Jan 1906, and died at Midhurst, Sussex, 12 Sep 1990. He was educated at the Royal Naval Colleges Osborne and Dartmouth. After retiring from active service he was secretary and administrative officer of the Imperial Defence College until 1963, when he joined the Confederation of British Industry.
He was married at Sliema, Valetta, Malta, on 22 July 1937 to Margaret Mary Willis-Price. They had one son (who died before his parents) and one daughter.
