HMS Lady Madeleine (T/Lt. W.G. Ogden, RNVR) picks up survivors from the American merchant Greylock that was torpedoed and damaged by German U-boat U-255 in the Norwegian Sea in position 70°52'N, 00°21'W. The Greylock was later sunk by gunfire by one of the escorts.
