Career information
He was stationed at Firth of Forth and he was probably at Port Edgar as that was home to RN minesweepers clearing the Firth of Forth and the East Coast of minefields. I think he was invalided out of the Navy due to stress-related ulcers. For many years he had to make trips to a naval hospital in Scotland his white blood count would fall very low. This was where he learned to embroider (as occupational therapy). He lived and died in Hull and was married with three children (Joan, Cyril and Dorothy).
