Career information
After retiremet bacame a fruit farmer in Essex until 1939, called up. Worked Rosyth swinging comapsses etc. following de-gaussing of ships to counter magnetic mines. Then went to Freetown. Near the end of war stationed one of the Portsdown forts assisting D-Day organisation. Demobbed at end of war, returned to fruit farming until 1955
