Notes on event | At 00.06 hours on 1 Dec 1942 the unescorted Trevalgan (Master Alfred Guy Williams) was torpedoed by U-508 southeast of Trinidad and sank after being hit by a coup de grĂ¢ce at 00.50 hours. The master, 33 crew members and nine gunners were picked up by USS PC-572 and landed at Trinidad on 3 December. | ||
