Notes on event | On 1 and 2 February 1944, U-453 rammed and sank four sailing vessels (Agia Paraskevi, Salem, Himli and Yahiya) in the Eastern Mediterranean. At 23.55 hours on 1 February, the Himli was rammed and sunk by U-453 about 8 miles off Soueidie. |
