Personal information
H.A. Simmonds was standing on deck and blown overboard by the explosion of the torpedo that hit Silverbeech. He was almost drowned by the suction of the sinking ship and to make things worse suffered from the effects of tear gas that was part of the cargo. He lost consciousness while clinging to a piece of wood until being picked up three hours later by the rescue vessel.Do you have additional information on this person?
