Personal information
Dr. Friðgeir Ólason was traveling back to Iceland with his wife Dr. Sigrún Briem and their three children Óli (age 7), Sverrir (age 2) and the infant Sigrún. The family was returning home having finished their medical studies at Harvard Medical School in the USA. All five perished in the sinking.
