Son of Edward Green and Lucy Pearson, of Newcastle-on-Tyne; husband of Eleanor Pearson, of Newcastle-on-Tyne. He died of wounds in a lifeboat after the sinking of Severn Leigh and was buried in the Ardroil Cemetery, Uig, Isle of Lewis.
