Personal information
Son of Emil Bertam and Petra Gunerussen Monsås; husband of Gudrun Monsås, of Halden. He was lost when the Norwegian motor tanker Hidlefjord was bombed and sunk by German aircraft in the St. George's Channel on 1 April 1941.
