Personal information
Son of Daniel and Julia Collins; husband of Ellen Margaret Collins, of Milnsbridge, Huddersfield.
Joseph Collins survived the sinking of HMS Camito and was subsequently assigned to HMS Laforey in August 1941. On 18 February 1943 he was transferred to HMCS Weyburn and lost his life when the corvette was sunk only four days later.
