He was taken prisoner when he served as third engineer officer aboard the Norwegian motor tanker Ole Jacob, which was captured by the German raider Atlantis west of the Strait of Malacca on 10 November 1940 and subsequently released from captivity after being landed in Japan on 10 December 1940.Do you have additional information on this person?
