Personal information
Son of Robert and Ethel Jinks, of Stilton, Cambridgeshire. Leonard Robert Jinks was a submariner and survived the sinking of HMS Medway with minor burns-scolds to his hands. He later died while assigned to the accounting base HMS Pembroke on 8 Feb 1944.
