Personal information
Edwin Arthur Wroe served in the US Army from 7 September 1940 to 5 September 1944 when he received a medical discharge with disability compensation. He had spent 34 days on a raft with seven survivors after the sinking of Jack, as only survivor of an US Army detail aboard to protect classified cargo.
