Personal information
Son of Santo and Josephine Patti, of Brooklyn, NY. Second Lieutenant in Signal Corps. He was on his way back home after serving six months in Iceland when lost on passage aboard Cherokee. His body was discovered by Canadian fishermen off the west coast of Nova Scotia on 27 August 1942, found to have died of exposure and was buried at sea.
