Personal information
Son of Joseph and Lucy Zmuda (nee Krusinska), of Philadelphia, PA. Edward never talked to his family about the sinking of Oakmar, it must have been a horrible experience. At the end of his career in the Merchant Marine he was second mate and navigator.
