Personal information
Pierre Santarelli joined the Free French Navy on 10 July 1940. After surviving the sinking of FFL Vikings he served aboard FFL La Moqueuse and FFL Commandant Dominé. After the war he became officer in the Marine Nationale until retiring as Capitaine de Vaisseau in 1972, having served in Indochina, North Africa and France.
