Personal information
Son of William James and Marie C. Hulme (nee Lynch), of East Lansdowne, PA. Corporal William James Hulme was returning from Iceland aboard Cherokee, survived the sinking, rescued by Norlago and landed at Provincetown, MA. He was taken to Camp Edwards, MA for debriefing before continuing on his journey to attend Officers Candidate School at Fort Belvoir, VA.
