Personal information
Son of Mathias and Synnøve Andersen, of Stokke near Tønsberg. He survived the sinking of Norness and became a gunner, but died of pneumonia while serving aboard the Norwegian motor tanker Kongsdal on 20 October 1943 and was buried at sea.
