Daughter of Svetislav and Juliana Prendic; wife of Stephan Gavrilovic, who worked at the Yugoslavian Consulate in Capetown, South Africa. En route to Montral, Canada with her son Ivan, both survived the sinking of City of New York and were rescued by USS Roper.
